BOB AND CINDY SMITH (Current restoration by Chris Smith).
1966 GTO HARDTOP
Bob and I bought our second GTO after locating her in a Greeley warehouse. It has been a love affair from day one with countless memories and new friends. One special time was driving her to Iowa for my 50th class of 1966 reunion where she was the star attraction.
Bob passed away in 2017 and the kids and I have decided it's time to give her some attention in his honor. Bob's love of his GTO will live on. Go GTO tiger!!!
Jon and Mary Chevalier 1969 Pontiac GTO Convertable
Purchased in 1977 for $1000. this car was originally Silver with a black top and Parchment interior.
It has had several re do's in the last 45 years but when my husband Jon passed away in 2016. I decided to redo it again in his honor. With the help of family, friends and Wyo tech, the result is what you see above. I think Jon would be proud.
One cool story about this car. In the early 80's our town of Loveland Colorado put on an air show with the Blue Angles. It was put on by a men's group Jon belonged to SERTOMA (service to man kind) Well one of the tricks they wanted to do with the planes was to have a ladder hanging down and a car speeding down the runway with a Blue Angle riding in the car and climbing the ladder. Well they chose to use our GTO ! for this trick. The first pass did not go well, and the ladder caught the rear view mirror on the drivers side and ripped it off the car! They tried it again with success, but we did not get a new mirror on the car until the 90's! lol.

I been a car enthusiast for many years. In the past I owned a 1961 Catalina as well as a
1977 Trans Am. I now own my dream car, a beautiful red 1975 Trans Am that I purchased from another club member. My husband Scott and I enjoy cruising the cars around town and the local car events in the community. I am also the Northern Colorado GTO Clubs Treasurer and enjoy being involved in club events and meetings.
Jarrod Warnok-
I have been into cars my entire life because of my dad. I wanted a 1966 Chevelle but I couldn’t find one and came across a 1966 GTO and it’s been GTO’s for me ever since. I’ve been part of club since 1992. At 12 years old I mowed lawns and saved enough to buy my first GTO. Since then, I have had too many cars over the years to count. I no longer own the 1966 GTO, although two people in the club owned it after me. I have another 1966 now. I became the “junk man” in the club as the unofficial parts guy. I enjoy being able to chase parts and chasing cars. I am not necessarily doing the car shows on weekends as I would rather dig junkers out of dirt. I have owned at least 1 GTO for every year made from 1964-1970. I grew up with the club and it has become a very important part of my life and I have met a lot of really good people and people that I value. I have also been on several different positions on the board over the years.

I saw an ad in the paper, Albuquerque journal 1992, and I decided to check out a 1970 hard top and ended up buying it. You can find me mainly cruising with it, not too many shows. I moved to Longmont with my wife. My son was keeping us busy doing things, so it sat in garage for a while but within the last few years I got back to the club. I have been a member of the national club but decided to join this local club and be able to check and be part of local events. Ironically, my car was originally a Colorado car that I obtained through some research. It is not highly modified but I did some work on it including adding disc brakes, posi rear end, engine, and tranny built.

My dad was a car dealer and repossessed cars all of his life. When I was ¾ years old, my dad bought a 1969 convertible which he promised to me when he was 7. That ended up not happening and my dad sold to someone else. Last year I got serious and found the perfect 1969 convertible, almost exact same as the one my dad sold. I have joined the Norther Colorado GTO Club to have a great reason to drive and get into car shows. I am also a realtor in Northern Colorado and have been doing it for over 20 years. I can also have more fun now with my car as my wife will go with me as she would not join me on my Harley.
Jack George-
I was one of the original members of the Northern Colorado GTO Association. I currently have a 1964 GTO that I drive on the street and races in club clash. I have owned multiple GTO’s of many different years, 3 Trans Am and a lot of Grand Prix’s. My passion for cars began when I was hitchhiking at 15 years old and was picked up in the back of a 1964 GTO. I have always been a Pontiac fan. I also won first place at the GTO Nationals in St. Louis.
Marlon Seals-
I grew up really into 4x4 lifted trucks. My dad used to have International Scouts and I’ve been driving since I was 7. As I got older, I realized I just love anything modified car or truck make and it does not matter, I just like anything modified. I grew up in Louisiana, at 23 I started a rock chip repair business and within a year and a half I opened my first auto glass repair shop doing all glass service and repair. At 27 I moved to Colorado and opened a glass shop. We now own and operate OE Auto Glass in Loveland and I have been doing glass for 27 years. Currently I have a fully custom-built Jeep with a ls7 mid 700 hp with 46-inch tires.
Beth Baker-
I owned a 1974 Audi Fox in high school and my brother had to rebuild the engine. I met husband Gerry in college, and always had a passion for Mustangs. Our first car together was 1987 Dodge Daytona turbo front wheel drive which I could drive through unplowed roads when we lived in Granby as snowmobiles rode along next to us. I also owned a 62 Willies Jeep. When Gerry and I had our son, Zach, he was about 6 years old and we owned a 1970 Dodge Super Bee which at the time called death trap. As he grew and our family continued to our passion for cars, all 3 of us have owned a variety of cars and even restored cars together. Having a common hobby in our family has been a joy throughout the years.
